Arman Tsarukyan finally booked his return to the UFC with a co-main event set against Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 331 in September, and he’s already plotting his next move after booking a match at RAF 14 scheduled for Oct. 3 in Las Vegas.
Tsarukyan is set to face Dillon Danis to crown the inaugural crossover middleweight champion.
RAF officials announced the pairing on Monday.
After starting his RAF career in a blistering undefeated run, Tsarukyan finally tasted defeat in a close match against Colby Covington back in July. Now Tsarukyan is back competing for another RAF title when he wrestles Danis in October.
As for Danis, he’s currently 0-2 in his RAF career after falling to Covington in his debut and then dropping a match to former UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev. The match with Chimaev ended in chaos after they got into a wild brawl on stage that required security to intervene.
Now Danis is back looking for his first win in RAF with a chance to pull off an upset against Tsarukyan with a title on the line. The match takes place just over a month after Danis is scheduled to face Mike Perry in an MMA fight in Florida.
The rest of the RAF 14 card is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
