Thanasis Antetokounmpo has opened up about his reaction to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s blockbuster trade to the Miami Heat, admitting he was caught completely by surprise.
Speaking on his Thanalysis Show podcast, Thanasis revealed he had no prior knowledge of the deal.
“The crazy thing is, I didn’t know… I didn’t know. That’s his business and whatever he wants to do. As for my reaction, I’m still adjusting. Man, it’s hard and exciting at the same time. Anyone who says it isn’t isn’t human.”
The Antetokounmpo brothers spent the last seven seasons together with the Milwaukee Bucks, from 2019 to 2026, before Giannis was traded to Miami earlier this offseason.
