Tyson Fury has his warm-up fight locked in.

On Tuesday, Fury and Queenzberry promotions announced that the former undisputed heavyweight champion will take on journeyman heavyweight Mariusz Wach at Max Muay Thai Stadium in Pattaya, Thailand, on July 24.

Wach (46) is a long-time veteran of boxing, previously challenging Wladimir Klitschko for the unified heavyweight titles back in 2012. Since then, he’s gone 12-12 in the squared circle, most recently dropping a decision in March to Viktor Vykhryst.

Earlier this year, Fury ended his fifth retirement from professional boxing, taking on Arslanbek Makhmudov in April and winning a unanimous decision. After the bout, Fury declared he would finally fight Anthony Joshua in a bout that is nearly a decade in the making.

Before that fight, however, both Fury and Joshua decided to take warm-up fights ahead of their long-awaited matchup. Joshua faces Kristian Prenga the day after Fury’s announced fight, fighting in Riyadh on July 25. Afterward, the two are expected to meet later this year.
