Conor McGregor is often touted as the biggest draw in the history of the UFC and that’s one title he won’t be relinquishing any time soon … if ever.
Despite a five-year long layoff and coming back from a broken leg suffered in his last outing back in 2021, the Irish superstar still commands an audience like no one else in the sport. The greatest evidence comes from early ticket sales for his comeback fight against Max Holloway at UFC 329, which takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
AXS is handling ticket sales for the event and the price for a single seat to witness McGregor’s return to action are going for as much as $24,600 with the cheapest seats still available sitting at $1,822 currently.
Based on current ticket sales, the highest priced options are third-row seats near the octagon with fourth-row seats on the opposite side going for $15,990 each.
There are a small amount of floor seats still available overall with the cheapest option on sale for just over $7,300 each.
While lower priced options in the upper decks are going for under $2,000, tickets have been selling in rapid-fire fashion since pre-sales started this past week. Based on current availability, the cheapest seat available for McGregor’s return to action is a seat in the very last row inside T-Mobile Arena priced at $1,822.
None of the costs for tickets includes sales tax or fees, which obviously raises the final price for buyers.
On top of regular ticket sales, OnLocation — the event planning arm of the UFC’s owners at TKO Group Holdings — are also putting together VIP packages for fans with deeper pockets.
The two biggest packages, which includes an Elite option that comes with front row floor seats has already sold out. The second biggest option called the “Rising Star” package has also sold out with six weeks left to go until the event takes place.
The final VIP options start at $13,500 per person and $8,000 per person.
The bigger package includes a VIP ticket to the event, lower level seating, reserved access at the ceremonial weigh-ins, a weigh-in reception with UFC athletes appearing and in-venue hospitality with UFC athletes also scheduled to appear.
The lower priced option includes a VIP ticket, floor level seating, post-fight octagon experience, reserved access as ceremonial weigh-ins and a weigh-in reception with athlete appearances.
The final gate numbers for the event won’t be released until the night of the fight but all signs are pointing towards a massive return for the UFC with McGregor’s long awaited comeback.
During his career, McGregor has produced a couple of live gates that surpassed $17 million but those events also took place in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Given the immense interest in his upcoming fight against Holloway at UFC 329, McGregor could be looking at his largest live gate yet — outside of his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather, which earned more than $55 million.
