Bob Menery is ready to fight.

On Saturday, the social media influencer and podcaster takes on former NFL quarterback and Heisman trophy winner Johnny Manziel in the main event of Brand Risk 14, at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The event is the latest effort from Adin Ross’ influencer MMA organization, and also features several other high-profile fights, including a battle between former NBA stars Michael Beasley and Lance Stephenson, among others.

Menery and Manziel have a long-standing beef, dating back to when Menery owned a team Manziel played on in the Fan Controlled Football league, and tensions mounted between the two. Now, they’re set to finally settle them, and Menery is brimming with confidence, issuing a final warning to Manziel on Friday.

“I love you so much,” Menery said. “You’re one of my best friends. I’ve made you so much money. I want to go easy on you, but I can’t. I can’t. I can’t go easy on you. But I love you. You’re a good kid. I love Johnny. He’s one of my best buddies, but I’m going to probably f*cking kill him at the end of the day.”

Neither Menery nor Manziel has any combat sports experience, though Manziel at least does have high-level athletic experience, winning the Heisman Trophy in 2012, and then getting drafted in the first round by the Cleveland Browns. Manziel played two years in the NFL before leaving the league and bouncing around other football leagues. And Menery does allow that Manziel’s athletic past does present one real challenge for him in their fight.

“Many things could happen,” Menery said. “I think that every situation I’ve ever gone through in my head — because I take this extremely serious — any situation I’ve gone through in my head, I’ve not seen one way that I’ll ever lose. But if I ever get his with a — he’s got one motion. He can throw a football down the field, really hard. He’s got that motion. That means you’ve got a good overhand right. You avoid that, you’re good.

“My final prediction is one of us will be going to the hospital. 1000 percent, somebody will be at to the hospital.”

Brand Risk 14 goes down Saturday night at 11 p.m. ET on YouTube.
