Michael Samperi set the bar high to start off Glory 107.
At the kickboxing event in Rotterdam, Netherlands, this past Saturday, Samperi won the opening bout of the evening with an unbelievable one-shot left hook knockout of Said Kabil. Watch the Knockout of the Year candidate below.
Early in the second round of their three-round contest, Samperi poured on the pressure and delivered a brutal combination to set up the finishing blow. He caught Kabil with a spin kick to the body after getting him to bite on a backfist, then followed with a pair of left hands to the head and body. A Samperi knee to the body opened Kabil up for the jaw-dropping left hook that left him completely frozen.
Samperi backed off as Kabil slumped against the ropes, the losing fighter left to collapse to the canvas as his body did a full spin before settling face-down on the mat.
It was a spectacular moment for the 25-year-old Italian, who picks up the victory in his first appearance for Glory.
