Maccabi Tel Aviv has officially signed a new three-year contract with Jaylen Hoard. The 27-year-old continues to be one of the team’s key building blocks.
Hoard made the following statement on the club’s official website:
“I am very excited to continue my journey with Maccabi Tel Aviv for another three years. My time here has been amazing, and I want to keep improving every day, getting better, and helping Maccabi win the Israeli League and the EuroLeague.
I would like to thank my teammates, coaches, the club owners, and management for their trust and support in me, as well as all the Maccabi fans.”
The club stated that, despite strong interest from other teams, they acted quickly to secure Hoard’s future early.
Hoard is the only player this season to have started all EuroLeague games (35/35), and he is also the team’s leader in minutes played.
Additionally, with an average PIR of 16.1, Hoard is one of the team’s most efficient players. He is averaging 11.7 points per game and ranks among the league’s best in rebounding, with 7.1 rebounds per game—placing him on the same level as Nikola Milutinov.
