ONE strawweight champion Xiong Jingnan is now a UFC fighter, and she will make her promotional debut against longtime octagon veteran Angela Hill at the UFC Macau card on May 30, the UFC announced Friday.

UFC Macau will take place at the Galaxy Arena and feature local bantamweight talent Song Yadong against ex-champion Deiveson Figueiredo in the main event.

Victorious in 10 of 11 bouts under the ONE banner, Jingnan beat Angela Lee twice, the only women that ever defeated her in the circular cage. Jingnan won a decision over Bo Meng in her final ONE bout, entering the UFC on a five-fight winning streak.

“This is a defining moment in my career,” Jingnan posted on Instagram. “From the very beginning, my journey with ONE Championship has been about discipline, consistency, and representing Chinese MMA at the highest level. I’ve faced the best, carried the responsibility of being a world champion, and embraced every challenge that came with it.

“Now, I’m ready for the next phase. I have officially signed with UFC. This decision wasn’t made lightly. It’s a calculated step forward, an opportunity to compete on the biggest stage in the sport and continue building my legacy as one of the best Chinese MMA fighters in the world. My debut will take place on May 30 in Macau, against a top 14 opponent. To everyone who has supported me on this journey, your trust and loyalty mean everything. I carry that with me into this new chapter. New stage. Same mindset. See you inside the octagon.”

Hill is set to compete for the 30th time under the UFC banner. With an overall record of 18-16 — and 13-16 in the UFC — the former Invicta FC champion looks to get back to the winning column after losing decisions to Iasmin Lucindo and Fatima Kline in 2025.
