Partizan Mozzart Bet continued their strong run in the AdmiralBet ABA League on Sunday, securing an important home victory over Cedevita Olimpija at the Belgrade Arena.
With this result, Partizan recorded their 18th victory of the season, improving their record to 18–1 after 19 games in the regional competition. The Serbian club remains firmly at the top of the Top 8 standings. Meanwhile, Cedevita Olimpija now hold a 12–6 record.
The standout performer of the match was Bruno Fernando, who played a crucial role in the win with a game-high 19 points and 7 rebounds, along with a performance index rating of 23.
But the most interesting game of the round was the one that closed it out: a EuroLeague matchup between Dubai Basketball and Crvena Zvezda, which was dominated from start to finish by the home team.
Dubai secured a 114-91 victory and remain in pursuit of Partizan at the top of the ABA League standings.
Dwayne Bacon (21 points) and Dzanan Musa (18 p.) were the top scorers for the hosts, while Jared Butler (17 p.) and Stefan Miljenovic (18 p.) stood out offensively for the red-and-whites.
The game was an offensive spectacle, with a 37–25 first quarter that made Golemac’s team’s intentions clear.
Even going into halftime with a 63–43 lead wasn’t enough for the home side, who opened the third quarter with a 12–2 run to push the margin to 30 and essentially turn the rest of the game into a mere formality.
