But the defending champions got dumped out by Manchester City in humiliating fashion.
And it means Pep’s side will face Arsenal in the final after they brushed aside their London rivals, Chelsea, in the other semi.
When is the 2026 Carabao Cup final?
- The final is set for Sunday, March 22.
- Kick-off time is yet to be confirmed but 16.30 GMT is the expected time.
- The match will be shown live on ITV and Sky Sports.
For the second season in a row, the final takes place in March and not February.

The final clashes with Gameweek 31 of the Premier League and the two Carabao Cup finalists will have their league match that weekend rescheduled.
For Newcastle that is their home derby against bitter rivals Sunderland.
While Man City are due to play Crystal Palace at home, Chelsea away at Everton and Arsenal away at Wolves.
