Cub Swanson is ready for his return.

It’s been over a year since Swanson last competed, but the 44-fight veteran is set for his next fight when he takes on Nate Landwehr in a featherweight bout at UFC 327 on April 11 at Kaseya Center in Miami.

MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin confirmed the bout with sources with knowledge of the matchup after Swanson broke the fight news Wednesday on social media.

Swanson (30-14) turned 42 this past November and has acknowledged he is being selective with the final fights of his career, which dates back to 2004. He most recently fought in December 2024 at UFC Tampa, where knocked out Billy Quarantillo in the third round. “Killer Cub” has alternated wins and losses in his past seven fights and holds a UFC record of 15-10.

Landwehr (18-7) is known for his brawling style, having collected five UFC post-fight bonuses in 10 appearances for the promotion. “The Train” is in need of a win after suffering back-to-back knockouts against Morgan Charriere and Doo Ho Choi.
