The Green Bay Packers won a fourth straight game and are 9-3-1 after beating the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Lambeau Field. Jordan Love threw three touchdown passes after an early interception, including two to Christian Watson, while Josh Jacobs and Keisean Nixon made the big plays to lift the Packers in the fourth quarter.

Five things to know about the Packers’ win over the Bears:

1. Love carves up the blitz

According to Pro Football Focus, Packers quarterback Jordan Love completed 9 of 12 passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns when the Bears blitzed him on Sunday. Bears defensive coordinator Dennis Allen had to bring extra rushers in attempt to disrupt Love in the pocket, but the Packers protection group — from the offensive line to the tight ends and running backs — held up. On all three touchdown passes against the blitz, Love was well protected. It will be interesting to see how Allen tries to defend Love in the rematch in Week 16.

2. Jacobs powers late drive

On the Packers’ go-ahead touchdown drive in the fourth quarter, Josh Jacobs produced 42 yards and had three huge plays. He ripped off an 11-yard run on the possession’s first play, converted 3rd-and-2 with an incredible individual effort gaining 21 yards and finished the drive with a hard-earned 2-yard touchdown run on 3rd-and-goal. The 21-yarder was one of the most impressive plays of the season. He shook Montez Sweat with a juke on the edge, broke through the tackle attempt of three defenders at the line of scrimmage and created an explosive play. Sometimes, you just need your stars to make plays. Jacobs delivered.

3. Parsons makes big impact

Micah Parsons didn’t bring down Caleb Williams for a sack, but he consistently disrupted the pocket and was a big reason why Williams consistently had to play off schedule. Per Next Gen Stats, Parsons had eight pressures and a pressure rate of 26.7 percent against the Bears. His pressure created Kingsley Enagbare sack in the first half. Parsons finished with two quarterback hits. Sunday was another great example of how Parsons consistently impacts the game even if he doesn’t show up in a big way in the traditional box score.

4. Third down

The NFL’s best third down offense converted 8-of-12 third down opportunities. While Jordan Love threw an interception on 3rd-and-19 to end the opening drive, he was excellent the rest of the way, throwing touchdown passes to Christian Watson on 3rd-and-10 and 3rd-and-3 and also hitting a 21-yard gain to Josh Whyle on 3rd-and-2. Love is averaging 9.2 yards per attempt on third down this season. Watson has a team-high 11 third down catches, and all 11 have gained first downs or scored touchdowns.

5. Packers take control

The Packers went 1-5 against the NFC North last season. In 2025, Green Bay is a perfect 4-0, including three straight wins during this pivotal late season stretch and an unbeaten 3-0 record at home. After Sunday’s win, Matt LaFleur’s team is now in the driver’s seat to win the division and host a playoff game in January. The work isn’t done, but the turnaround against the division is a big reason why the Packers have a chance to be the top seed in the NFC with four games to go.
