“WWE Raw” aired live from Mexico City on September 14, and viewership numbers for the show revealed the red brand hit over three million global views for the first time since before the beginning of the summer. The advertised World Heavyweight Championship main event match which pit Roman Reigns against Penta, after a series of title changes on shows the weekend prior, likely had some impact.

Data made available from the outlet dated back to the June 1 episode shows that “Raw” did not not hit the three million mark over the summer, with the highest global views for an episode coming on August 17 at 2.7 million.
The episode of “Raw” ranked sixth globally for the week among English TV shows, and fourth in the United States. The red brand was beaten out on the domestic chart by “Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story,” “Crew Girl,” and “Jo Koy: Blue in the Face.”
Reigns defeated Penta in the main event of the show at Arena CDMX to retain his title. The episode was opened by WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio introducing new Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer following her victory over Liv Morgan at a live event in Santiago, Chile.
