Sean King III just made a statement in his UFC debut.

On Saturday, King stepped up on nine days’ notice to take on Jessie Rosas — the elder brother of Raul Rosas — in a preliminary bout at Noche UFC, and things couldn’t have gone much better for the undefeated “King of New Orleans.”

Just 30 seconds into the fight, King ducked under a left hand from Rosas right into a takedown attempt, and as Rosas tried to defend, King hoisted him in the air and slammed him viciously down to the mat, knocking Rosas out cold. King pounced with some brutal ground-and-pound on the unconscious Rosas before the referee intervened, calling the bout off just 36 seconds into the first round.

The win moves the 22-year-old King to 7-0 in his professional career with five finishes. For a young man who turned professional last year, King’s future looks bright.
