Fans got an answer Tuesday night, when the top welterweights faced off ahead of the iconic Rocky statue in Philadelphia to promote their championship bout. On paper, according to official numbers, Garry has a 5-inch height advantage over the reigning 170-pound champion.

This marks Makhachev’s first title defense at welterweight, having beat Jack Della Maddalena to claim the belt after a very successful and dominant run at lightweight. Garry, on the other hand, enters the cage after a pair of wins over Carlos Prates
