Trabzonspor have terminated JD Notae’s contract after the American guard failed to pass his medical examinations, the club officially announced.
The Basketball Champions League side had recently signed the 27-year-old scorer as part of its roster construction for the new season, but the move has now fallen through for medical reasons.
Trabzonspor are therefore expected to return to the market in search of another foreign player for the shooting guard position.
Notae spent most of last season as a free agent before joining Trapani Shark. He averaged 13.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists across nine appearances in the Italian league.
