During Monday’s Ring of Honor tapings in Jacksonville, Florida, AEW President Tony Khan revealed that Wednesday’s edition of “AEW Dynamite” will be a tribute show to the late Pac, real name Benjamin Satterley, who died at the age of 40 on Sunday. On Tuesday ahead of the show in Pittsburgh, Khan took to social media to reveal the main event.
In a post to X (formerly Twitter) Khan revealed that AEW World Champion Will Ospreay will take on Ricochet. He also posted a graphic for the bout.
“2 iconic rivals of late great legend PAC will fight 1-on-1 in honor of our fallen friend on Wednesday Night Dynamite’s PAC Tribute tomorrow! This one’s for Ben,” Khan posted.
An emotional Khan revealed during his announcement ahead of the ROH tapings that the wrestlers competing in both ROH, as well as on “Dynamite” on Wednesday are doing so voluntarily following the tragic passing of their friend.

Ospreay shared the graphic on X and said, “This one’s for you Ben. We love you.” In the days following Satterley’s passing, Ricochet posted a touching tribute, also on X, alongside a photo of himself and Satterley in Japan.
“After giving it some time, I still don’t quite know what to say,” Ricochet wrote. “What can I say that hasn’t already been said about Ben? I start to get angry at myself for not being able to help the situation at all. Then I get sad all over again knowing my friend is gone. My heart is truly hurting.”
AEW revealed Sunday night on social media that Satterley had passed away. The star competed the night before, opening AEW All Out against Andrade El Idolo for the National Championship.
