Steve Borden will be in action alongside Darby Allin at AEW All Out next weekend.
Having become a more constant fixture in the build-up to Allin’s TNT title match against Kevin Knight at All In, going on to help him win the title, Borden has gone on to make his full AEW in-ring debut alongside him against the Don Callis Family’s Josh Alexander and Mark Davis last week.
This week, Borden was in action alongside Allin and reigning Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage against FTR and the DCF’s Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher. They picked up the win once again, and it was announced afterward that Knight and Fletcher would face Borden and Allin once again.
The match stands to be Borden’s pay-per-view debut and might have implications to the wider Tag title picture. Copeland and Cage will be defending their titles in a three-way TLC match against the Young Bucks and FTR on the same night, and prior to this week’s eight-man contest Fletcher and Knight had alluded to wanting to challenge for the titles.
Allin held the Tag titles alongside Borden’s father, Sting, for 25 days prior to his retirement from the ring while still the reigning champions at Revolution 2024.
