PFL San Diego will feature Ariane Lipski da Silva’s second appearance in the cage, facing California’s own Jena Bishop at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego on June 27. PFL officials confirmed the preliminary card fight to MMA Fighting on Tuesday.

PFL San Diego will be headlined by a featherweight showdown between AJ McKee Jr. and undefeated prospect Salamat Isbulaev, with flyweights Liz Carmouche and Viviane Araujo battling in the co-main event.

Lipski (18-11) was victorious in her PFL debut in March, defeating Sumiko Inaba via decision nearly a year after parting ways with the UFC. The former KSW flyweight champion went 6-8 in the octagon with bonus-winning finishes over Casey O’Neill and Luana Carolina, and was close to retiring from the sport after her UFC release.

“I considered retiring because I had big plans, I really believed I could achieve my goals in the UFC,” da Silva told MMA Fighting earlier this year. “For six years that I was in the UFC, I gave everything I had to make that happen. It didn’t, and I was like, ‘Okay, so what am I going to do? Am I going to stop now, have a child?’— because I do want our family to grow. For a moment I thought about stopping, but I realized I still have more to show, you know? I still have more to show inside the cage, and I believe my career wasn’t meant to end like that. Then the opportunity to debut in the PFL came, and it worked out, and now we’re here.”

Bishop (10-3) finished Borena Tsertsvadze in her most recent fight in April, rebounding from a 2025 PFL season final loss to Liz Carmouche in August. A jiu-jitsu black belt under JW Wright with medals in important tournaments in the grappling circuit, Bishop combined for 6-0 in Bellator and LFA before going 4-3 under the PFL banner, scoring six of her 10 pro MMA wins via submission.
