Panathinaikos Aktor claimed the Gold Devotion Award, with Valencia and Paris following with Silver and Bronze in the 2025–26 Devotion Marketing Awards.

Euroleague Basketball shared more details on Thursday.

Per the press release: “Euroleague Basketball has named Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens, Valencia Basket and Paris Basketball as the 2025-26 Devotion Marketing Award winners at the Euroleague Basketball Business Workshops, recognizing standout work in fan engagement, event production and brand collaboration.

Gold Devotion Award: Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens

Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens has grown its digital fan platform, CLUB 1908, to nearly 300,000 registered members across 77 countries since its launch in November 2024. The app now serves as the club’s central hub for fans worldwide, with more than 422,000 installations and over 80,000 monthly active users, who average close to three minutes per session.

Before CLUB 1908, fans engaged with the club through separate ticketing platforms, physical merchandise stores, social channels and standalone promotions. The app consolidated these into a single environment, combining ticketing, merchandise, loyalty rewards, gamification, matchday content, partner offers and the club’s community initiatives in one place.

The platform has sustained strong growth throughout its rollout, reaching peak daily registrations of 623 and maintaining an average pace of 222 new sign-ups per day, reflecting consistent engagement well beyond its initial launch period.

Silver Devotion Award: Valencia Basket

Valencia Basket marked the opening of Roig Arena with a citywide celebration built around an open-access Fan Zone, a symbolic opening ceremony, live entertainment, digital content and coordinated sponsor activations. The event drew 14,606 spectators to the arena and more than 9,100 additional visitors to the Fan Zone, generating an online media reach exceeding 517 million impressions.

This high attendance and expectation were also converted in extra ticketing, merchandise and food and beverage revenue. But beyond the financial results, the event established Roig Arena as Valencia Basket’s new home and created a scalable model for future game-day experiences.

Bronze Devotion Award: Paris Basketball

Paris Basketball partnered with two major entertainment studios for exclusive home-game activations this season: Disney, around the release of ‘Tron: Ares’ in October, and Sony Pictures, around ‘GOAT’ in February. The collaborations extended the club’s reach to families, younger audiences and entertainment fans not previously engaged with basketball.

Both activations generated significant press and media coverage beyond the club’s traditional basketball audience, reinforcing Paris Basketball’s position at the intersection of sport, entertainment and culture. Pre-event digital content drove incremental ticket sales across the two games, with part of the investment directed toward show production and fan activations.

Euroleague Basketball congratulates the winning clubs and recognizes all clubs for their marketing efforts this season.”
