“WWE NXT” star Keanu Carver has reportedly been ordered by a Florida court to have no contact with another “NXT” talent who filed an order of protection against him, and his current status within WWE is not known.
POST Wrestling reported that the talent, who the outlet did not name, accused Carver, real name Kevin Roberston, of stalking and harassment. According to POST’s report, citing the petition filed by the talent, Carver and the talent previously dated, and after they broke up, he continued to make unwanted visits to the talent’s home, and reportedly also made as many as 44 unwanted calls per day to the talent. The petitioner noted that Carver had been threatening and abusive throughout their relationship.
The “NXT” talent sought the order of protection on September 14, and a temporary order was granted the same day. Carver allegedly showed up to the talent’s home on September 13, threatened to harm himself, and refused to leave, until the talent called police. According to POST, that temporary order has been continued through the next court hearing on October 20.
POST noted that the protection order is a civil matter, though stalking is a criminal offense in the state. The outlet reported that an official with local police couldn’t answer whether or not charges will be filed against Carver, as the investigation is ongoing.
Carver last wrestled on a “NXT” house show on September 12. His last TV bout came on September 8, where he lost in a six-man tag to determine who would go on to compete in a triple threat to decide the next No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship. POST Wrestling couldn’t clarify Carver’s status with WWE, including whether or not he is able to be at the WWE Performance Center, as WWE did not respond to a request for comment.
