MMA Fighting has results for Saturday’s Misfits Boxing card, which takes place at James L. Knight Center in Miami and streams on DAZN. In the main event, former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo takes on Wanna Walton.
Cejudo makes his promotional debut a little less than 10 months after retiring from the UFC following his unanimous decision loss to Payton Talbott at UFC 323 this past December. Since then, Cejudo has competed three times for RAF, going 2-1 including a 36-second pinfall win over Merab Dvalishvili at RAF 12 in August.
Walton steps in for Deen the Great on short notice. The 20-year-old holds a 3-0-1 boxing record, including a decicion win in his most recent bout a year ago at an MVP Prospects Series event.
Additionally, former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson defends his Misfits middleweight title against Mahmoud Sebie.
