Orlando Magic forward Franz Wagner has a right calf strain, and his status for Game 5 against the Detroit Pistons is in doubt, ESPN’s Shams Charania reports.
Wagner sustained the injury late in Monday’s Game 4 win over Detroit that gave Orlando a 3-1 series lead. His availability for Game 5 will depend on his response to treatment, according to the report.
Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday in Detroit.
Wagner’s averaged 16.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.8 steals during the first round series. He’s been instrumental for the 8th-seeded Magic, who are one win away from an upset of the No. 1 seed Pistons in the first round.
