The California State Athletic Commission disclosed the payroll numbers for the PBC and TGB Promotions event at Pechanga Arena in San Diego.

The state figures record Cruz with a net payout of $554,740, while Bravo secures $169,640. The paperwork also assigns $45,000 to Cruz and $5,100 to Bravo inside an unspecified other category without detailing what those deductions represent.
Ryan desires a willing target who presses inside, presents clear openings, and walks into counter left hooks. Cruz is taking a massive gamble here with almost zero margin for error. A calendar that looks toward December or January gives him eight to twelve weeks total.
When a fighter relies on pressing inside behind a tight earmuff guard, head clashes and elbow collisions are practically guaranteed. A deep slice over the eye or across the bridge of the nose requires medical suspensions, plastic surgery, and weeks without contact. The only way Cruz protects that payday is by making this short and surgical.
He has to hurt Bravo to the body early, strip away his mobility, and get him out of there before the rounds pile up and head clashes become inevitable. Any prolonged war, even if Cruz wins comfortably on the cards, works against his immediate future. Pitbull Cruz must control the real estate with a punishing jab, dig into the midsection, and pin Bravo against the ropes.
