The EuroLeague announced on Monday that from the 2027/28 season, 24 teams will participate in the elite competition, four more than we will have this season.
From then on, we will have 21 franchises – the current 13 shareholders, with an additional eight clubs joining as franchises.
The names of 11 clubs remaining in the race for those eight spots are known, and Hapoel Jerusalem is not among them.
Nevertheless, despite this, Hapoel is not giving up on a spot in the EuroLeague and franchise status, as they confirmed in a press release.
