Hapoel Jerusalem announced on Tuesday that it has signed a two-year contract with Serbian center Dusan Miletic.
Miletic was part of Cluj-Napoca last season, playing in the ABA League and BKT EuroCup, and he chose not to have a free summer, signing with Lebanese club Al Riyadi until the end of their championship.
Earlier in his career, Miletic was also part of Partizan, Spartak Subotica, Borac, and Sloga in Serbia, and he also played for Slask and Girona.
At Hapoel, he will join another Serbian, Sasa Obradovic, who is the head coach of the club.
Per press release: “Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem Basketball Club is pleased to announce the signing of Serbian center Dušan Miletić (28, 2.14 m) for two years, until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Miletić began his professional career at Partizan Belgrade, and later played for Girona in Spain, Śląsk Wrocław in Poland, and Spartak in Serbia.
Last season he played for Cluj in Romania, where he was one of the standout players in both the EuroCup and the local league. In the EuroCup, he averaged 12.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 22.1 minutes per game, finishing fourth in the competition in rebounds.
In June, he joined Al Riyadi from the Lebanese league, leading them to a championship.”
