Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley could meet again on October 17 in a WBO heavyweight title rematch, giving Wardley just over five months to recover from their first fight.
Boxing reporter Darshan Desai reports that October 17 is a possible date for the second meeting. Nothing has been officially announced.
Dubois stopped Wardley in the 11th round of their May 9 fight in Manchester following an exhausting battle in which both heavyweights had difficult moments. Wardley dropped Dubois twice early, putting himself in position to take control before Dubois worked his way back into the fight.
