Heavyweight prospect Da’Mazion Vanhouter (13-0, 10 KOs) knocked Raphael Akpejiori (19-4, 18 KOs) unconscious in the first round Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The scheduled eight-round bout ended almost as quickly as it began. Vanhouter ignored a six-inch height disadvantage, closed the distance and landed the crushing shot that sent Akpejiori backward toward the corner.
