Callum Simpson reclaimed the British and Commonwealth super-middleweight titles Saturday night, defeating Troy Williamson by unanimous decision in their rematch at the First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds.
The judges scored the 12-round fight 116-112, 117-112 and 115-113 for Simpson, who gained revenge for the only defeat of his professional career.
Williamson had stopped Simpson in the 10th round of their first meeting last December after dropping him four times. Rather than trying to erase that loss with an immediate knockout, Simpson fought with greater control in the rematch and made his size and work rat
