Another Serbian player will be playing in the NBA next season

Bogoljub Markovic officially signed an NBA contract with the Milwaukee Bucks this Wednesday.

The 2005-born player, who plays as a power forward and center, was drafted last year by the Bucks as the 47th pick. However, it was decided that Markovic would remain in the ABA league and continue to play for Mega this season, a team from which many players have moved to the NBA.

This turned out to be a great decision, as Markovic was the MVP of the ABA league last season, and he also reached the Serbian Cup final with Mega.

We’ll see what role Bogoljub Markovic will have next season, but it seems minutes are opening up for him since Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis have left the Bucks in a trade.
