Andrade El Idolo is still AEW National Champion after a victory over Pac in the opening match of AEW All Out 2026. The men took their time sizing one another up, before Andrade eventually rushed Pac to start things off.
Pac hit the champion with a German suplex, but Andrade hit a quick Dia de los Muertos, but couldn’t capitalize fast enough for the pin. Andrade hit two of Three Amigos before Pac countered and rolled out of the ring. Andrade tried to go after him, but was met by Marina Shafir, who gouged his eyes twice while Pac had referee Aubrey Edwards distracted.
They threw one another into the ring barricades, and Shafir got sent into the front row. Andrade took to the ropes and missed the moonsault, but immediately followed with the standing moonsault, only for Pac to kick out. Andrade looked to rush him in the corner, but Pac connected with a belly-to-belly suplex.
Andrade rallied with the Three Amigos and sent Pac to the floor. He hit a tornillo and went to pose with a woman at ringside, but Shafir appeared behind her and choked her out, distracting Andrade and allowing Pac to gain the upper hand. He hit a moonsault to the champion on the outside, then connected with a 450.
Pac hit a big hurricanrana from the top rope, but Andrade rolled through with the momentum to hit another Dia de los Muertos. Pac once again rolled out of the ring, where he sent Andrade flying over his head, into the barricade.
Both men were able to beat the 10 count, and Andrade dodged the Black Arrow. He looked for the DM, but Shafir distracted him again, allowing for Pac to hit the reverse hurricanrana into a lariat. He locked in the Brutalizer, but Andrade was able to roll him up to retain.
