In a prelude to the Women’s Owen Hart Cup final on Sunday, Maya World will team with Hyan to take on the woman she faces in the final, Mercedes Mone, and the woman she beat in the semi-final, Athena. They attacked her after her win over Athena, having feigned respect for the moment at the time.
Persephone will defend her CMLL Women’s World Championship against a student of Athena in Billie Starkz, and the AEW World Trios Championship will also be on the line as the Conglomeration’s Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly takes on the Opps’ Hook, Anthony Bowens, and Katsuyori Shibata. Kevin Knight will be defending his TNT Championship against Dezmond Xavier.
Former Trios Champions alongside Knight, Mistico and Mike Bailey, will also be in tag team action against the Premier Athletes. And Chris Jericho will also be wrestling on the show against JD Drake.
“AEW Collision” is scheduled to start at 8 PM ET on TNT and HBO Max for those in the US. International viewers can make use of the MyAEW streaming app.
