Sean Strickland is living his best life, and that means getting to display his wrestling and submission skills against fans on a beach.
Less than two months after winning the UFC middleweight title, Strickland was filmed giving a fan the taste of grappling him in a playful contest on a beach, taking him down face first on the sand before getting his back and sinking in a standing rear-naked choke to force the tap.
Strickland’s next official UFC bout is still yet to be announced by the promotion. Meanwhile, Khamzat Chimaev is on social media asking Strickland to “accept the fight” and rematch him after their recent split decision.
“Accept the fight, don’t run, I’ll beat you anyway,” Chimaev wrote on Monday. “The sooner this happens, the easier it will be to breathe.”
