THIS is the moment Mohamed Salah set the football world ablaze in a bombshell interview over his Liverpool future.

The Egyptian stayed on the bench as the reigning Premier League champions threw away a two-goal lead and were forced to settle for a share of the spoils against Leeds on Saturday.

Salah showed his fury after the final whistle, suggesting that he has been thrown under the bus by Liverpool.

He also claimed his relationship with boss Arne Slot has been left in tatters after being named among the substitutes for three games on the spin.

And Salah, 33, refused to rule out quitting Anfield when he returns from the Africa Cup of Nations next month.

Footage has emerged of the raging forward surrounded by journalists in the Elland Road mixed zone for his outburst.

He spoke with reporters for more than three minutes, making his feelings clear.

Salah said: “I’m very, very disappointed. I have done so much for this club.

“Everybody can see that during the years and especially last season.

“It seems like the club is throwing me under the bus. That’s how I feel.

“It’s very clear that someone wants me to get all the blame.”

On his bond with Slot, Salah added: “I said many times before I had a good relationship with the manager and all of a sudden we don’t have any relationship. I don’t know why.

“It’s not acceptable for me. I don’t know why that happened always to me, I don’t get it. If I was somewhere else, the club will protect its player.

“I don’t know why I’m in that situation now but again it’s how I see it.”

Salah also took a swipe at Jamie Carragher after the Anfield icon has been critical of his performances.

But former Premier League title-winner Chris Sutton has branded the ex-Chelsea man “embarrassing” following his comments.
