Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira are ready to prove who truly is the Baddest.
On Saturday, Holloway and Oliveira face off for the BMF title in the main event of UFC 326 in Las Vegas. It’s a rematch of a 2015 fight, before either was a UFC champion, that ended abruptly and left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Now, over 10 years and two Hall of Fame career laters, the two legends are set to lock horns one more time, and both men are fired up to settle the score.
Holloway and Oliveira met for the final time before UFC 326, meeting at the Ceremonial Weigh-Ins on Friday evening, and while both men kept things professional, the two BMF contenders went nose-to-nose for their final faceoff, forcing UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby to separate them.
After their faceoff, both fighters gave their final thoughts to the crowd, as is customary.
“Two giants, two legends, two people, two BMFS that deserve to be here,” Oliveira said through the translator. “And tomorrow, I know that my arm is going to get raised.
“Mom, it’s your birthday today, so I’m going to give you a gift tomorrow.”
Holloway, likewise, promised fireworks for the fans.
“This is big game hunting, and the hunt is on tomorrow,” Holloway said. “Tune in! You guys don’t want to miss it.”
