Easy job for Virtus on the road against Napoli (71-90). After losing to Real Madrid in the Euroleague, Ivanovic’s team continues to dominate the domestic competition.
Francesco Ferrari (19 p.), Matt Morgan (14 p.), and Alou Diarra (14 p.) were the top scorers.
Napoli Basket attacked the rim in the first quarter (21-16), but Virtus reacted in the second to tie it up before halftime (40-39).
Ivanovic’s team scored a quick 2-14 run after the break to complete the comeback. They secured the win in the fourth quarter (71-90) to stay on top of the domestic competition.
