Luca Vildoza has been medically cleared to play for Virtus Bologna against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet in Virtus Arena on Friday.
The 30-year-old combo guard was dealing with left thigh discomfort over the last couple of weeks and missed three straight games in the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season. However, he is ready for Round 24 action.
Before being forced to the sidelines, Vildoza logged 20 appearances, including ten starts for the team coached by Dusko Ivanovic, averaging 7.1 points, 4.4 assists, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per contest. Over eight years, including his first with Vu Nere, he logged 216 games played in Europe’s premier club competition.
In contrast to the former EuroLeague champion with Panathinaikos in 2024, Aliou Diarra (left ankle), Alen Smailagic (abdomen), and Francesco Ferrari remain unavailable.

At the Belgrade outfit, Joel Bolomboy was rested in the top half of the double-game week opposite AS Monaco in Salle Gaston Medecin, after previously returning from a ten-month absence due to Lisfranc injury in Round 15 of the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season, but is likely to play his first EuroLeague game since last March. Tyson Carter (chest), Jasiel Rivero (foot), and Isaiah Canaan (knee) remain out for the team coached by Sasa Obradovic.
Entering Round 24 with a 13-10 W-L tally, the Belgrade outfit holds tenth place on the table, the lowest seed of the Play-In Showdown zone. The Bologna side follows in 11th place, tied with fellow LBA UnipolSai participant EA7 Emporio Armani Milan at 11-12.
