Alex Pereira’s legendary knockout power looks like it’s going to translate just fine in a new division.

The two-time light heavyweight champion officially moves up to heavyweight on June 14 when he fights Ciryl Gane for an interim title in the co-main event of UFC White House. With a win, Pereira would become the first UFC fighter ever to capture belts in three divisions.

“Poatan” has chronicled much of his heavyweight journey on social media and his latest clip might be the most intriguing yet as it shows him unloading on longtime coach and mentor Glover Teixeira against a gym wall with the sound of his punches echoing through the gym.

In his brief UFC career, Pereira has established himself as one of the most feared knockout artists of all time, with dramatic finishes over Israel Adesanya, Jiri Prochazka, Sean Strickland, Khalil Rountree, Jamahal Hill, and Magomed Ankalaev. The latter KO avenged Pereira’s lone loss at light heavyweight and made him a two-time champion in the division. He also previously held the middleweight title after defeating longtime rival Adesanya.

He now seeks to add one more accolade to his already legendary fighting career when he faces Gane on the White House lawn in June.
