The UFC roster is down two fighters.
Promotional officials confirmed with MMA Fighting that they have released longtime bantamweight Pedro Munhoz, and recent signee Shem Rock from the promotion following a Twitter post from the UFC Roster Watch account.
Munhoz competed for the promotion 22 times over a 12-year run with the promotion, including sharing the octagon with the likes of Sean O’Malley, Aljamain Sterling, Jose Aldo, and Dominick Cruz. Munhoz, who recently asked for his release from the UFC in a social media post earlier this month, closes the UFC chapter of his career on a three-fight skid, with his most recent loss coming against Aiemann Zahabi at UFC Edmonton this past November.
Rock signed with the UFC in 2025 following a solid run with OKTAGON MMA. The 32-year-old dropped both of his UFC bouts via unanimous decision against Nurullo Aliev and, most recently, Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady at UFC London in March. The bout with Al-Selwady ended with Rock attempting to strike his opponent after the final horn.
