Jose Ochoa is out of Saturday night’s UFC 330 in Philadelphia with an injury, but Charles Johnson will remain on the card as the promotion was quick to find a replacement in Eduardo Chapolin.
The news was confirmed on the official event page Wednesday, following Johnson announcing the change on social media.
UFC 330 proceeds with 12 bouts, including a pair of championship contests in Islam Makhachev vs. Ian Machado Garry and Mackenzie Dern vs. Gillian Robertson.
Chapolin (15-2) last fought in November 2025, beating An Tuan Ho via decision at Dana White’s Contender Series, but wasn’t offered a contract. The former LFA flyweight champion also competed on season 33 of The Ultimate Fighter in 2025.
Johnson (19-9) will become the most active fighter in the UFC with his upcoming appearance on Aug. 15, averaging one bout in every 98 days. Johnson already fought three times in 2026, with a win over Bruno Silva sandwiched between losses to Asu Almabayev and Alex Perez.
