Conor McGregor is back on a UFC poster.
The former two-division champion takes on old rival Max Holloway in the welterweight headliner of UFC 329 on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and an official poster for the event was released Friday.
This is just the second time in the past five years McGregor has been featured on a UFC poster. After breaking his leg in a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021, McGregor has been on the sidelines recovering, dealing with various legal issues, and pursuing ventures outside of fighting. His face was on the poster for a June 2024 comeback fight against Michael Chandler at UFC 303, but an injury forced McGregor out of that contest and he wasn’t booked to fight again until now.
Holloway is coming off of a disappointing loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 326, where he was dominated on the ground en route to losing the “BMF” title. He lost a decision to McGregor in their first fight 13 years ago and looks to earn a measure of revenge when they rematch to cap off International Fight Week.
