This is the UFC 328 live blog for Sean Brady vs. Joaquin Buckley, the main card welterweight bout Saturday at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
This is a pivotal bout for both fighters who recently suffered key losses in their hunt for an elusive UFC title shot.
Brady (18-2) lost for just the second time in his pro career when he was knocked out inside of a round by the undefeated Michael Morales at UFC 322 in November. Prior to that setback, Brady had won three straight fights, including a dominant submission win over former welterweight champion Leon Edwards.
Buckley (20-7) was also on a recent hot streak, having won six straight fights following a drop down from the middleweight division before running into Kamaru Usman. The longtime welterweight champion defeated Buckley by unanimous decision at UFC Atlanta, but the two have since teamed up to prepare Buckley for what could be his last chance at proving he belongs to stay in the contender picture.

King Green with some violence to get things started in great fashion in the UFC 328 main card, and we’re now on to a pretty good welterweight scrap. There was some surprising line movements odds-wise for this one hours before UFC 328 started so I’m curious to see what happens here.

Ok, here we go now. Buckley walks to the cage with a stoic face. This is his first fight since having a pretty good streak snapped by ex-champ Usman in 2025.
