This is the UFC 326 live blog for Gregory Rodrigues vs. Brunno Ferreira, the main card middleweight bout Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Rodrigues and Ferreira first fought in January 2023 at UFC 283, where Ferreira defeated Rodrigues via first-round knockout.
Since that setback, Rodrigues (18-6) has won five of his past six fights. The grappling specialist-turned-standup slugger is coming off of back-to-back wins, a unanimous decision over Roman Kopylov this past November and a first-round KO over Jack Hermansson at UFC 317. “Robocop” can continue his steady climb up the rankings and gain a measure of revenge over Ferreira with a win Saturday.
Ferreira (15-2) hopes a second win over Rodrigues lands him a number next to his name. “The Hulk” has won three straight fights and delivered some fast finishes, but is yet to find the consistency needed to join the upper echelon of the middleweight division. Ferreira’s most recent outing was a mixed bag as he missed weight by three pounds before going on to win a decision over one-time UFC title challenger Marvin Vettori.
