IF you’ve ever wondered how hard is it to break into a Champions League level stadium, it turns out the answer for Atalanta’s ground is not very.

The Serie A giants need to upgrade their security after a fan posted a video on social media showing exactly how easy it is to break into their stadium, The New Balance Arena.

The viral video shows the fan walking up to the gates where the team bus entrance is.

Given the team was founded in 1907, the man in the video tries that four digit code on the door’s keypad and, surprise surprise, it works.

The man in the video said: “We’re here at the Atalanta stadium, mountains in the back.

“We’ve got the team bus entrance. What could the password for this gate possibly be?

“What date was the team made? 1907.”

He proceeds to enter the code and then comments: “Erm, yeah. Top notch security, that!”

While it’s not illegal to attempt to crack the passcode, entering the stadium still would be considered trespassing and an arrestable offence in Italian law.

Given the video has over one million views on Twitter alone, it’s safe to say the Italians will get the hint.

One fan commented: “Easy passcode for a pro stadium is insane. Billion dollar sport run like a high school.”

Another said: “Bro could have had a life time ticket but he choose to show the internet.”

A third posted: “When the stadium Wi-Fi password is harder than the actual entrance.”

Security in football stadiums is often the laugh of social media, lest we forget the steward back in 2017 for Spurs who was going through the motions to say the least.

Atalanta currently sit seventh in Serie A five points behind Cesc Fabregas‘ Como in the race for the European places.
