Barcelona may be going through one of its most delicate moments in recent years, but the EuroLeague doesn’t stop.
Tomáš Satoranský, one of the team captains, spoke to the media ahead of the Bayern Munich clash about the current state of the squad following Peñarroya’s dismissal, with a clear goal in mind.
“We know it’s a very difficult situation, but the players have already talked about it inside the locker room. We’ve emphasized that we have to stick together to get through these tough times. The season doesn’t stop, the competitions don’t stop, and for us, the most important thing right now is to focus on beating Bayern Munich.”
The name of Xavi Pascual has been strongly linked with the Barça bench, but the Czech guard prefers not to get ahead of any developments.
“We don’t know anything about the reports regarding the new coach. When we do, when it becomes official, we’ll respond the way we have to. For now, we’re just trying to stay united and focus on tomorrow’s game.”
