Neither fighter gave ground as hooks and power punches flew before Bowen opened up with a sustained attack that forced the referee to jump in. Dalielibieke immediately protested the stoppage, furious that he wasn’t allowed to fight on. Still angry with the call, he walked directly to promoter Eddie Hearn at ringside and voiced his frustration over the referee’s decision.
Omar El-Abdallah stopped Jordan Towns after three rounds following a dominant third, dropping him twice and piling on the punches. Towns dragged himself back to his feet and survived the bell, but the punishment had taken its toll. The referee waved off the fight between rounds.
