NOVAK DJOKOVIC clapped back at an obnoxious heckler after his straight-sets win over Tomas Machac at the Australian Open.
Djokovic, 37, defeated Machac 6-1 6-4 6-4 in the third round at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.
The world’s No7 picked up a heroic victory as he overcame medical concerns.
The 24-time Grand Slam winner was on his haunches several times as he battled to get his breath back and clutched at his stomach between points.
Djokovic, though, also had to deal with at least one heckler who appeared to be intoxicated.
Nevertheless, the Serbian powered through in dominant fashion and got to hit back at the annoying fan during his post-match interview.
Djokovic looked back at the match and said: “You go through different stages in a match and…”
Then a heckler yelled what appeared to be: “Marry me, Novak!”
Djokovic quipped: “Sorry mate, I have a wife. We can have a drink, though. Maybe you’ve had a few already.”
The tennis legend continued: “Him and I were going back and forth for quite a while.

“Listen, I’m happy to have a drink with him now that the match is over.
“I think we can reflect nicely on what we’ve said to each other during the match.”
Djokovic tried to go back to analysing the match but lost his train of thought: “What were we talking about…?”
That was when the Australian Open crowd and the itnerviewer started cracking up.
