But that didn’t stop him attending his beloved United’s 4-1 win over an awful Wolves side at Molineux, which sent the Red Devils up to sixth in the table.

Littler shared images of the rowdy scenes in the stands, where he sat alongside some mates to watch Wolves’ pummelling.

He uploaded the images to his Instagram account, where he boasts almost TWO MILLION followers.

He revealed the trip was his first away day with the club, captioning the snaps: “First away day what a result.

The post got a big reaction from United supporters and has already racked up almost 70,000 likes, but it wasn’t just supporters who were chuffed to see the teenage sensation in the stands.

United goal scorer and man of the match winner Mason Mount commented on the post, saying: “Love it mate.”

Club captain Bruno Fernandes also responded to the Nuke’s attendance, commenting a bullseye emoji on an identical post made to Littler’s X account.

Both stars shone as United condemned their opponents to yet another winless performance, making it 15 games without a victory for Rob Edwards‘ men this season.

Fernandes opened the scoring off the back of a scrappy run of play that saw his shot trickle over the line.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde‘s equaliser at the end of the first half gave the hosts a glimmer of hope.

But goals from Bryan Mbeumo, Mount and a second for Fernandes made Littler’s day and brought the scoreline to 4-1.

One chuffed United fan said Littler’s presence was: “Bringing the good luck”

Littler will hope not to need any luck as he chases his second World Championship crown this month.

He will kick off his defense when he faces Darius Labanauskas on Thursday evening.
