Rick Glaser has taken the Fury–Joshua venue dispute directly to Turki Alalshikh, accusing Eddie Hearn of working against plans to stage the fight at Madison Square Garden on November 20. The post reads like a mixture of flattery, tattling, and a formal request for Turki to deal with an unruly employee.
After praising the proposed Netflix event, Glaser told Turki that Hearn’s public support for Wembley was causing “havoc” throughout boxing.
“Turki Alalshikh, you have a great event in the deep planning stage for November 20 on Netflix at the Mecca of Boxing Madison Square Garden in New York And as you know, Eddie Hearn is attempting to undermine your great event,” said Glaser on X. “Whatever Hearn’s reasons may be, personal gain, or other motives, it’s causing havoc in Boxing circles, & the sporting public, especially with Hearn saying on video’s “I don’t care who this upsets” as he mouths off.
“Turki Alalshikh, you deserve much better than you are receiving from Hearn in his lack of respect. Best regards from Sonya & I.”
The sign-off completes the effect. Having reported Hearn’s alleged misconduct and lavished Turki with praise, Glaser closes the message as though he were sending a polite letter to a school principal.
Nothing in the post proves that Hearn is trying to damage the event for “personal gain” or any other hidden motive. He represents Anthony Joshua, who signed for the fight to take place at a UK stadium. Joshua prefers Wembley, while Turki and Tyson Fury favor New York.
As Joshua’s promoter, Hearn is supposed to argue his position, even when it clashes with Turki’s plans. That does not automatically make him disloyal or disrespectful.
The message presents the dispute as something more serious. In Glaser’s version, Hearn is creating chaos, sabotaging Turki’s work, and failing to show proper gratitude toward the man financing the event. It is an extraordinary display of public loyalty. Glaser did everything except ask Turki to send Hearn to the headmaster’s office.
