Raul Rosas Jr. has his next assignment.

The 21-year-old bantamweight prospect is set to headline UFC Vegas 121 on Sept. 21 at Meta Apex in Las Vegas, where he takes on veteran Raoni Barcelos (22-5) in the main event.

This marks the first UFC main event booking for both fighters.

Rosas (12-1) has been one of the most talked-about fighters on the UFC roster ever since earning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022 just one month shy of his 18th birthday. That made Rosas the youngest fighter ever to sign with the UFC.

He then became the youngest UFC fighter ever to record a win when he submitted Jay Perrin in his debut. Following a loss to Christian Rodriguez, Rosas has won five straight fights, most recently earning a unanimous decision over Rob Font at UFC 326 this past March.

Eighteen years Rosas’ senior, Barcelos is also on a five-fight win streak, a run of success that includes the likes of Montel Jackson, Ricky Simon, Cody Garbrandt, and Payton Talbott. Barcelos is currently ranked in the top 15 of both the UFC’s Meta and media rankings.
